Goodbye March you've been B-eautiful

Goodbye March and hello April, but before i say goodbye to another incredibly quick month i think i should definitely share what happened in it! It has been a Beautiful month because I've ventured up to London to see Billy Lockett and ventured to Bristol to see Bastille both with my blogging friend!

Billy Lockett~

After a 4hour trek up to London me and Peeb managed to find our hotel the 'Alhambra' and like the seventeen and eighteen year olds we are ran around the hotel and bounced on the beds:)) I vlogged the whole trip ( click here to see it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sbh_T6nxJGU ) So after out lush chicken burgers from kfc which happened to be a 10 second walk from the hotel, convenient! We then went on another adventure to find the venue for the gig (the old Church st pancras.) After making sure we were right at the front inches from the microphone, i can honestly say it was one of the best gigs i have been to, it was so intimate and Billy was so humble that anyone actually turned up!
Also, i got to meet him afterwards and after a couple autographs or two, we walked back to our hotel, feeling so happy that what we've actually achieved! Finding the hotel, the venue and meeting Billy and Dan, please if you're reading this check out Billy Lockett's music (I'll leave a link below) absolutely brill! The next day we then went to Camden Market where we haggled our way out of many sales, especially Peeb! Hopefully tomorrow I will be doing a haul including some Camden market items, so stayed tune on youtube for that!

Bastille~

A very new and upcoming band that have got very popular played at Bristol so we saw the opportunity and booked the tickets quick! Everyone always asks me what is your favourite gig between Billy Lockett and Bastille and they honestly cannot be compared, Bastille was a much more drum influenced gig have hundreds of people jumping and screaming when Dan walked over to a side of the stage (or into the audience and the balcony at one point!) whereas Billy's was much more relaxed and intimate, so they cannot be compared! Anyway Bastille were incredible, like Billy Dan is extremely humble and said it was on the biggest venues he has played, but we agreed that he will soon be selling out of 02 arenas not 02 academy's. My personal favourite is 'Weight of living' and performed live is even more perfect, honestly i don't know how but he sounds even better live than he does on the cd, it just has so much more energy and ah it's brilliant. i unfortunately didn't get to meet Dan, but i got a picture of him looking straight at me so that's just as good eh?

So March you've been absolutely fabulous, two of my favourite singer/bands within 4days of each other, i just hope April can deliver the same, it's a challenge:)) See you again soon bloggers!
